How Can Foreigners Apply for Vietnam e-Visa?

To start the process, visit the official website for Vietnamese e-Visa application at https://evisa.xuatnhapcanh.gov.vn/. This website is managed by the Vietnam Immigration Department and is the only authorized site for e-Visa applications. Be cautious of other websites that claim to offer e-Visas as they may be scams.

Step 2: Upload Required Documents

Once on the website, you will be prompted to upload scanned copies of your passport data page and passport photo in .jpg format. Make sure that the documents are clear and meet the requirements specified on the website.

Step 3: Fill in Personal Information

Next, you will be required to fill in all the required information from your passport data page, such as your full name, date of birth, and nationality. You will also need to provide details about your trip, including your entry and exit dates and points of entry/exit.

Step 4: Pay Visa Fee

After filling in your personal information, you will be directed to a payment page where you can pay the e-Visa fee using any of the payment methods offered, including international credit or debit cards. The fee for a Vietnam e-Visa is 25 USD for card payments.

Step 5: Receive Registration Code

Once your payment is confirmed, you will receive a registration code via email. Make sure to save this number as you will need it to check the status of your application and download your e-Visa.
